Musique pour la Tristesse de Xion – Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections: Field and Battle

This video has been in the making for quite some time, even had a grand piano version from a few months back, that I wasn’t satisfied with, maybe I’ll upload it unlisted at some point for those curious, but that depends on you.

This song has made me realize how, as a pianist, it’s easier for me to put my soul into pieces like this (when I’m not playing with others) than other music. It’s strange, in a sense. A blessing and a curse, I have a few other possible uploads, but I feel like they sound soulless in comparison… Nonetheless, I plan to keep playing various pieces, uploading some here and there.

A goal, that’s formed in my mind, after this piece, is to actually play all the pieces in the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections and in the Field & Battle variant. I don’t know how it’ll go, but I like a challenge.

In unrelated news: I finally bought the 2 CDs to the Piano Collections album, and may be going to a certain concert next year… #Only Fans Will Know #Hashtagging when you don’t like #Hashtags

Anyways, hope you enjoy the piece. I’m still not satisfied, but one needs to move one. Just like the death of… Wait… There Was a certain black-haired girl who… I just can’t remember. Strange.

Dearly Beloved – Kingdom Hearts (Slight Improv)

Some may remember this piece from August 2011. Damn, 5 years… seems like ages.

In any case, I thought I’d give the piece another try, before I inevtiably move on to the Concert Paraphrase in the next few months (or years :P)

Enjoy the piece and until next upload!
There’ll be a few less, since I started Uni. But I’ll try to have at least one every 2 months!

A Nearly Peaceful Place – Witcher 2 on Piano

The Witcher is one of my favorite book and video game series. It’s currently tied for my favorite video game series with Kingdom Hearts and Dark Souls. In any case, music is always very important to me.

This piece has been in my repertoire for almost 2 years, but I never deemed it “upload worthy”. Always thought that there was something to improve (even now).

I’m glad how it turned out and hope you enjoy the piece as well 🙂
